Choose Life News

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10. We being Prolife have much work to do but yet in this scripture it says that God has prepared in advance for us to do. When Denise and I walk the streets of the United Nations and assembly rooms. We always pray Lord direct our footsteps and guide our thoughts, let us only say what you would have us say and give us strength, boldness and wisdom to say it. Let your will be done! We have many divine appointments that God has already established for us to have, Amen! He does prepare the way.

My Name is Melody Stefanson and I am Saskatchewan’s representative with Canada Silent No More. This year has been such a eventful year for CSNM. We were a voice for the voiceless and stood for God's word, way, truth and life at the United Nation in Geneva at the World Health Organization through the generosity of a Doctor in Australia who paid our way to go! PTL! The WHO is working to make abortion a universal woman's right to have her child killed. They are also pushing liberal sex education into every nation. God had us speak to many doctors, Ministers of Health and delegates on the pain of abortion, and how it killed our children. Divine appointments were made with VIP's from Kenya, Poland, Mali, Chad, Korea, Zimbabwe, Timor-Leste, China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, Ghana, Congo, Nigeria, Rwanda, Burundi, Japan, South Africa, Brazil, Tanzania… and also had the opportunity to speak to the Ambassadors to Uganda and Zambia! I also got to meet many fellow prolife warriors and the UN representative for Geneva Archbishop Silvano M. Tomasi, Permanent Observer of the Holy See, it was such an Honour!

Denise and I were then invited to attend a meeting at the UN, held by the "International Alliance of Patients' Organizations where Denise shared about Canada Silent No More as former abortion patients who were never informed about all of the risk factors of abortion including subsequent depression, suicides, substance abuse, breast and cervical cancers, pre-term births and fertility problems etc. We were invited to join their coalition to get an international voice!

Denise Attended and gave an oral statement at the United Nations-New York 44th Commission on Population & Development as well met with UN Ambassador to Uganda and spoke in a China meeting against the one child policy and forced abortions and sterilizations.

In July I was asked to share my testimony and sing my songs in my home town. This was very hard to do, it evoked a lot of memories; thoughts of having my secret exposed and feelings of shame to my mind. So I needed a lot of prayer support and encouragement from others. I don’t know if it ever get easier to share your past mistakes and regrets but we need to be that voice so our preborn children can be saved. We do this to create an awareness of the risks involved and expose the aftermath of abortion. It went very well and God gave me courage and grace to do this, Thank God! Many other CSNM women spoke in Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, BC and Quebec.

I attended the Saskatchewan Pro-Life Association Inc convention in Humboldt. What a blessing to be there! Michael Coren shared an inspiring message and Brad Trost was there for support and shared his prolife agenda to stand against the funding of Planned Parenthood. It was so great to meet many different prolife leaders in our province!

In Oct Molly and Denise attended CEDAW (Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women) meetings at the UN-Palais, they too are pushing the legalization of abortion globally to make it a woman’s right to have her children in the womb killed on demand. They handed out many flyers and met with representatives from the Holy See, Uganda, and Minister of Women’s Health from Ivory Coast, as well as with Dr. Mathius from the WHO and many others. They then journeyed to Israel, spoke to many people there and ministered life and God’s word to the broken hearted. The best part was they got to share testimonies and mission to a group of Christians visiting Israel, from northern Russia! Several of the women were post abortive who stayed for ministry after our talks. They prayed for them, as many wept for the loss of their children.

This next year I am invited to the UN in New York for the The Commission on the Status of Women conference in March, 2012. I pray funds will come for us to expose the lies and be salt and light to the nation leaders, Amen! I will be singing and speaking at the March for life in Edmonton 2012. Also we have a new billboard that I will be putting up on my field by highway 35. Denise has made an excellent DVD with doctors and testimonies of women that we are going to share with M.P’s and M.L.A’s in our nation and beyond! We are moving forward, thank you for all your support and prayers, they are much needed. Please if this is something that is on your heart and want to contribute and make a donation.

Through His Word we are encouraged share His love and goodness with others.
When we donate to charity, when we give faithfully, we reap the joy of sharing...and God pours out His blessing!
We can't out-give God :) we need support to be able to do this work.. Thank you for your generous spirit and be blessed! May we stand together in this fight!

Many Blessings

Praise Report from Denise & Molly!

United Nations Geneva Report: Oct. 10-14th 2011

Molly White and I got into the UN early on Monday and headed straight to the "Serpents Lounge" to see who the Lord would have us talk to…and we spoke to several people about the pain of legal abortion, how it damages women physically and psychologically and killed our children. Rev. 12:11,12, Prov. 31:8.

We headed to the CEDAW (Committee on the

Elimination of Discrimination Against Women)

meetings at the UN-Palais, they too are pushing

the legalization of abortion globally to make it a

woman’s right to have her children in the womb

killed on demand. As I was handing out

information sheets on the desks of every

representative on the pain of legal abortion,

before the meeting started, the Secretariat of

CEDAW took us out into the hallway where we could share our message with him. It turns out that he was personally on the prolife side, and gave us some pointers. We later talked to another committee member as well.

Our message for these meetings were that women are being forced and coerced to abort their children in China...as well as the discrimination on female children being aborted in China and India…

There was a forum on "WORLD MENTAL HEALTH" where Molly and I attended. The speaker’s panel consisted of representatives from the World Health Organization, a Human Rights Lawyer, Geneva Director of Commission on the Status of Women, and others.

God made a way for me to give a statement to the forum about the psychological and emotional pain after abortion, my testimony, and stats on millions of women who suffer post abortion trauma. I handed out copies of the new mega, meta-analysis done by Dr. Priscilla Coleman showing that 81% of women who abort will suffer some kind of mental health issues, i.e. depression, suicides, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, etc. One of the panelists a psychologist came to me as I was leaving and thanked me for speaking up, and said that he was totally on board and prolife too.

We went to the UNFPA and left them some materials. We also attended a meeting On the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty and met with the Commissioner against Torture with the Human Rights Council International. ...we say NO Death

Penalty to children in the womb!! They do not deserve inhumane, brutal, cruel dismemberment, poisoning and decapitation. He was pro life, and encouraged us to start with our own nations.

We met with Dr. Mathai an obstetrician and epidemiologist at the World Health Organization. The meeting went very well. He was very pro abortion in the beginning, and trying to rationalize it for population control. Molly and I shared our testimonies and message on the pain of legal abortion and gave him an information packet with studies and research. I quoted how at the Nuremberg Trials how the Nazi doctors mutilated and experimented on Jews and children etc. so the international community declared that first surgery must be conducted on animals for testing, then if it is safe, on people...but women have become the guinea pigs when it comes to abortion He was taken aback when I said, "What study can you tell me about that confirms that induced, legal abortions are beneficial to women's reproductive health?? NOT ONE study and millions of women are suffering physical and psychological damage in silence!
We had good dialogue, and after hearing our concerns on the damage to women, and humanity of the children in the womb, he agreed that abortion hurts everyone.

Then we had several divine appointments at the UN-

Palais, where we talked to several people from

Uganda, and a Ugandan journalist interviewed us

for radio and newspaper there. We also met with a

representative of the Holy See.

The highlight on our last day was an excellent

meeting with the Minister of Women's Health from

the Ivory Coast in Africa! She had several of her

staff attend our meeting including a lawyer, NGO representative and other staff. She was so impressed with our message, resources and information that she wants to organize a forum for Molly and I to come and bring education and awareness to train up their NGO leaders and government leaders on the talking points to prevent abortions in their Nation!

ISRAEL Report: Oct. 14-22
nd To the Jew first....amen.

Molly and I shared our testimonies and witnessed the Gospel of Life to many people in Israel. I met and shared with a Jewish woman who had an abortion, and could not forgive herself; she felt unworthy, had low self esteem and believed that God would never forgive her. I told her the blood of Yeshua paid the price for even the sin of abortion! She was so glad to speak to us.

We celebrated Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) in Jerusalem; and attended the festivities International Christian Embassy for Jerusalem. We talked to lots of people. I met a Christian author of "The Long Love Letter" book, and after I told her about our mission, she said she would supply us with this book, and as many as we wanted along with a New Testaments too for all the post abortive women! PTL!

We watched an amazing video/documentary about our friend, Ishai and his wife Anat who are Messianic believers, run a pregnancy care centre, do post abortion recovery and are strong pro lifers too...his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins were murdered in the holocaust in Poland...I learned that because of the inquisitions and the Nazi holocaust that "Christianity" is a huge stumbling block to the Jews! And therefore believers are greatly persecuted in Israel, and one Messianic family was sent a bomb, their son almost died from the blast, they are considered traitors and enemies of Jews.

We witnessed to several people in Tiberius by the Sea of Galilee including young men and women. I talked to a Jewish woman who lived in Romania for many years...at first she told me that she was pro-choice and totally disagreed with what I was saying… I continued, and after some time, she told me that she had 17 abortions with her husband. However, he had recently died, and it was getting on her conscience. She began turning around...and when I told her about Yeshua...she told me in a whisper, that she believes in him too....PTL!!! We had many GOD appointments...sharing HIS way, truth and life here with many Israeli youth and young adults...also got to speak to a group of believers from around the world at the Bet Bracha hotel.

The best part was we got to share our testimonies and mission to a group of Christians visiting Israel, from northern Russia! Many of the women thanked us for speaking, and they all cheered after we spoke. Several of the women were post abortive who stayed for ministry after our talks. We prayed for them, as many wept for the loss of their children...we are praying about going there to teach them how to be a voice, minister to one another and prevent abortions. Praise the Lord, it was ALL GOD!! To HIM be all the Glory, Honour and Praise!

Love,

Denise Mountenay & Molly White

Our UN Mission TRIP to Geneva!

We were a voice for the voiceless and stood for God's word, way, truth and life in the "Serpent's Lounge" at the UN.

UN-Geneva-World Health Organization is working to make abortion a universal woman's right to have her child killed. They are also pushing liberal sex education into every nation. God had me speak to many doctors, Ministers of Health and delegates on the pain of abortion, and how it killed my children.

Praise The Lord!

I was invited to attend a meeting at the UN, held by the "International Alliance of Patients' Organizations where I shared about Canada Silent No More as former abortion patients who were never informed about all of the risk factors of abortion including subsequent depression, suicides, substance abuse, breast and cervical cancers, pre-term births and fertility problems etc.  We were invited to join their coalition to get an international voice!

While staying at our Geneva Hostel, we spoke to a group of Lutheran's from Germany who sadly thought it was okay for a woman to choose to have her child killed and argued with me, however, I stood my ground in love, and tried to persuade with the Word of God that He hates the shedding of innocent blood, and bring humanity to the children in the womb.  Another group of United Church and Anglican's were also at the facility who thought abortion was a woman's right, and again I spoke God's Word, Truth and Way to them, hoping the blinders would be removed, as the gods of this world had blinded their minds also.

I thank God for Melody who accompanied me from Saskatchewan and was a great help!  The Pro Life coalition on site included Jeanne Head,  Scott Fischback and Mary Langois from the USA, Patrick Buckley from Ireland and ourselves from Canada.

A huge thank you for everyone who prayed for us, and helped to send us to be a voice for women and children damaged and destroyed by legal abortion.

Sincerely,
Denise Mountenay

You Named Me No One - Abortion

Updates from CSNM and our upcoming Mission Trip to Geneva!

Dear Friends for Life!

Denise and I are Going to the World Health Assembly, put on by the WHO-World Health Organization...to meet and talk to Health Ministers and Leaders of nations about the pain of legal abortion, world demographics, and the humanity of children in the womb. We will be going on May 14- 21,  would you help us and be prayer back up and moral support at this time. Below are highlights from the United Nation Mission trip!  We are praying that donations will come in to cover our costs for Geneva, If This is something that God has laid on your heart and if you can't physically help and would like to donate to this mission then Please go to my Blog OR any of the links below to donate through PayPal which does accept credit card payments.

We are planning a Gala Dinner and silent auction for Aug 27th.. If you have any fundraising Ideas please let us know!  Can you HELP with Prayer backup for our missions? Fundraisers? Administration? Collecting testimony's? If you can send a donation to this ministry that would be such a blessing! All of the links below have information on how to donate.. Thanks SO MUCH for your support!!!

Don't be silent!
To the nations of the world: The blood of 100's of millions of babies cries out against you. Their cries are heard by God; a god of Justice, Judgment & Divine Retribution. He hears the cries of the afflicted and defends the oppressed. He sees what we do in secret. Turn and repent, before He repays us for what we have done.  I just recently watch the movie again " One night with The King". I LOVE this movie about Esther.  It was a story of personal Sacrifice,  She willingly risked her life so that others can be saved.  God reminded me during this movie that we all need to be Esther's for our pre-born children, who are being  massacred every day! Although Esther was hesitant at first, she followed through and was obedient with God's desire to help save the Jews.  I know personally I have struggled with keeping on the path for LIFE, it's not an easy path to be on. We expose ourselves to the people who want us to be silent, they don't want to hear the TRUTH about abortion.  We are spiritually attacked and verbally for sharing our Testimony, OUR personal story of how abortion hurt us and lead us to Kill our innocent Children.  We open our wounds and Bare our soul every time we share, but we have to keep Fighting this Goliath, We need to Stand for our Children,  however we can, or how God leads us to Help! God creates our paths, we need to follow his will for our lives.  And this is what we will do! God Bless you and I pray that you will Keep Up the Good FIGHT for Our Children in the Womb!
Many Blessing

Highlights from the 44th Commission on Population & Development Conference
Theme:  Fertility, Reproductive Rights & Development At the United Nations, New York April 11-15th

By Denise Mountenay-NGO-Endeavour Forum Inc. Canadian Director

First, I want to thank everyone who prayed and fasted, and who gave a donation to help send us to this conference at the United Nations for such a time as this.  Also, I thank God for making a way for Glenisaah Stauffer to join me as an intern to the UN on this mission.  We Christians, who work at the UN, are Ambassadors of a different government, the Kingdom of God.  With the direction of the Holy Spirit we meet and discuss issues on the earth with leaders of nations that matter to the heart of our Father, creator of the universe. Bravo to Sharon, Jeanne, Colleen, Samantha, Peter and the rest of the prolife, pro-family team too!

Sunday morning I attended Times Square Church, to praise our God and worship His Holy Name.  At the visitor’s reception, I met a woman from Uganda, who invited me to sit with her and her friends. I shared my heart with them; that I was in NY to attend this UN conference and meet with UN Ambassadors and leaders of nations on the pain of legal abortion, how it is damaging women and nations, and killed 3 of my children.

To my great astonishment, this woman turned out to be the UN Ambassador to Uganda’s wife!  Yes! Praise the Lord!  And she promptly invited me to her home for dinner and to meet with her husband. What a blessing.  He is also a doctor, a pediatrician, we spoke for over 2 hours, and he was very interested in my message and information.  Two days later Glenisaah and I visited the ambassador’s office as I presented him with gifts and information for his delegates.
Monday and Tuesday at the UN were filled with many divine appointments as we met with delegates from the around the world, including a judge from Trinidad and Tobago, Deputy, Director-General of Population for Japan, and UN delegates from Zambia, Gambia, St. Lucia, Equador, Argentina, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Chile…

On our way into the UN one day we met with 4 men from China, a lawyer who was incarcerated for 4 years for trying to bring a case against the one child policy, a Chinese journalist, a Christian, and an entrepreneur.  We totally supported them and they would like to arrange for Chinese women to hear our message also.
On Wednesday, I was blessed to make my statement to the whole UN Assembly on the pain of legal abortion, and how it is damaging women physically, psychologically and how it is affecting world demographics in a significant way. Several people thanked me afterward for this speech.  PTL!
Later that day there was a seminar on Cervical and Breast Cancer around the world, where I was also able to bring up the link between induced abortion and breast and cervical cancers. PTL!

China had a side event for population software, where I was able to make a statement against the one child policy and how we are very concerned about Chinese women who are forced to have abortions and forced to have sterilizations.  They said, they did not know how to answer that.
Thursday night I was invited by one of the staff of Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who is also a professor of a Bible College to come and give a message to his students. I got to pray for them as well, and minister to a post abortive woman. PTL!

To God be all the Glory, great things HE has done!  We felt there was a shift in the spiritual realm as we expose the lies of the enemy in that place and declare God’s word, way and truth. We know that babies will be saved and nations warned of the evil of human sacrifice, the shedding of innocent blood.
Thank you for listening.

Election: Letter to MP

Dear,
Hon. June Draude,

I have to thank you for making an appearance and speaking at our science fair in Foam Lake.  As the elections draw near I  am finding it challenging as to who to vote for.  I am trying to get an Idea of each candidates values and status on Human Rights. We are a prolife non profit organization who believe that children in the womb have rights too.  I am with an organization called Canada Silent No More and would like to hear your view on the issue of Abortion.

Health Canada advises against smoking during pregnancy, as it can harm your unborn child. Yet, Canadian health care dollars pay for the destruction (by abortion) of over
100,000* unborn children annually. As a society which prides itself on its sense of equal rights, why not protect all unborn children?
*The leading cause of death in Canada is induced abortion...over 275 abortions occur each day. The number of repeat abortions, that is, a second, third or fourth
abortion for the same person, continues to rise in Canada. Repeat abortions, increased from 20% in 1985 to 37.4% in 1998.

Also I would like to hear your view on Roxanne's Law, MP Rod Bruinooge's Private Members Bill, C- 510. C-510 seeks to amend the Criminal Code to make it an offence for someone to coerce or attempt to coerce a female person to have an abortion. Did you support this bill?

We also are together petitioning to the house of Commons as per below:

WHEREAS: The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) promotes the establishment of abortion
as an international human right, and lobbies aggressively to impose permissive abortion laws on developing nations.

Over eighteen hundred future citizens of Saskatchewan die every year by abortion- paid with our tax dollars! Meanwhile, other urgent medical treatments have long waiting times!  We are told that there are more important issues. We are told that we should be looking after the children already born.  We  are even accused of having a lack of concern with the life and health of the mothers and that abortion is a necessary evil and we just have to learn to live with it.
The politicians, of course, are quick to point out the Canada Health Act which requires provinces to pay for "medically necessary procedures" But abortion is almost always a procedure of convenience.  Consequently, not all provinces fund the killing of their Pre-born children.

What of the health of the mother? Women who have had abortions show increased infertility, increased risk of premature delivery and ectopic pregnancies with subsequent pregnancies, increased risks of breast cancer, as well as cervical and uttering damage.  Not many women would choose abortion of they were given support and all these facts.

Science clearly shows that human life begins at conception. That is a basic fact believed even by pro- abortion advocates. During this election, make the right to Life a priority. A for politicians, political gain at the expense of te basic right to life is a horrific abuse of power.  Differences between preborn babies and other people are not in species (human or not) but in size, level of development, environment and degree of dependency.  These differences also exist among those of us who survived past the womb!

As there should be no denial of the right to life to ANYONE already protected under Canadian Laws( those already born).  regardless of where they fall on any of these continuums, so should there be no denial of the human right to life to those at the most vulnerable ends of the scale, preborn children and the disabled or elderly!
Canada is a country that respects human rights.

The majority of Canadians stand with the preborn child, her mother, and her family, threatened by abortion. It has been repeatedly shown by annual polls conducted by Environics Research Group (see www.lifecanada.org ) that the clear majority of Canadians support pro-life legislation.

Therefore, on this 40th anniversary of the darkest day in Canadian history, I call upon Parliament to pass legislation for the protection of Human Life from the time of Fertilization/ conception until natural death.
God be with You June!

I hope to hear from you soon on these issues of life and Death..

Many Blessings

PETITION TO THE HOUSE OF COMMONS
To stop government funding of International Planned Parenthood Federation

Thursday, March 31, 2011

Pray that hearts, minds, Laws and history will be changed!

Rev 12:11 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

My Name is Melody Stefanson and I am here today because I believe abortion Kills babies and emotionally damages women. I was 16 when I became pregnant and had my first abortion. Scared and with no counselling I agreed with my parents that it was the right choice. I didn't even think of the fact that this Baby was had a beating heart at this point in my pregnancy. I believed that it was just a clump of tissue and hadn't even formed until 3 months; I can't believe how naive I was. There were no discussions of risks with the procedure or side effects and neither did my parents. Others convinced me that this was not a baby and I should take care of the problem. You see I think at that time it was so hard to live with the revelation of sexual promiscuity and be exposed to the public of a small town. So we took the easy way out. I remembered feeling so alone and desperate! My life was to be changed forever if I had this child, I really needed counselling! There was no talk in having the baby or putting it up for adoption to me, Just one option, ABORTION.

About a month after my first abortion, I was so depressed and didn’t really care what happened to my body. The pain ran so deep. I had many different sexual relationships due to the need to be loved in some way, because my self esteem was so low. I started to drink to numb the pain inside and using drugs. I remember trying to sleep a lot because life was so much better in a dream. I ended up being involved in a steady relationship. I was on a low dose birth control pill and missed it so many times; this led to my second pregnancy. Spiritually I was empty, emotionally I was lost in depression. I told the father and he said it was up to me, my decision. Which left me overwhelmed and thinking he really doesn’t want a baby or care. So I drank more and did many drugs to forget the problem, not even considering the life I carried inside, because this was just a clump of tissue right!

I was three months when I finally told a family member that I was pregnant. We went to the doctor and told him I wanted another abortion. He didn’t show me any pictures of what this baby looked like at 12 weeks or didn’t send me to any counsellor. He sent me to a clinic in the states. We walked into the clinic and I was awake for the whole procedure. I heard the suction tube I seen them tear my baby piece by piece. It was horrible, but I just wanted to block it out. I ask the nurses what was in the jar and they told me just tissues. They sent me away and I was left empty again. I remember drinking so much that night I just wanted to forget the whole experience.

The Guilt and shame came again, Finally the emotion remorse came.. and in the same year as my abortion I intentionally got pregnant . So many women who experience multiple abortions try to cover their actions and justify themselves by having a baby. This is what I did.. but most relationships who have experienced abortion don’t last. This was the same for my story, I ended up having my baby and got married but divorced six months later. I was trapped in the cycle of Post abortion syndrome. I used abortion as a form of birth control.

My son was three years old when I had my third abortion, and had three abortions before I was 24. This was the most painful one of all. I was in extreme pain with the third abortion. I was alone and drove myself. I didn’t want to tell anyone that I was going to jump up on that table again. After the procedure I remember feeling so weak with heavy bleeding but I didn’t want to go back to the hospital. I felt such shame and guilt inside, I wasn’t going to face anyone who new what I did. I had to stay at a friends house because I couldn’t drive myself home an hour away.

I never talked about my experiences to anyone. When I went for a physical, I would lie about my health history, saying only one abortion or sometimes two but never three. Spiritually I was so empty so
I started searching through different religions and spiritual beliefs. I just wanted to feel whole and fill that void of shame and grief. Through years of searching, heartaches and tears I found a God who would forgive all that I have done and help to restore my character. He would set me free from the shame and heal my pain. When I became a believer he filled the void and gave me a purpose. I wrote a song for my three aborted children so that others could identify with my pain and story. So many regrets, a love letter to them filled with acknowledgement of their existence, and my actions of a choice not given to them.

Years later I saw Denise Mountenay on the miracle channel and she shared her personal testimony. It brought me to tears because I then new I wasn’t the only one feeling this regret and shame. I wept so hard that day and asked God to forgive me and make a way so that I could make a difference. So I sent Denise an email of my testimony because I new that I wanted to get involved and be a voice for my children. I believe healing comes in waves sometimes, to give us strength as needed at the time. Something inside happened to me that day, God gave me strength and courage to speak out about my experiences. To inform women of the truth, to help them heal and be restored, and to expose the lies about abortion. I know that I had a purpose in this life and that God had a purpose for my children. But they were killed before they had a chance.

There are no accidents- no unplanned pregnancies with God. There is a purpose and a plan for everyone. Who knows maybe one of my aborted children could have been a doctor for life or found the cure for cancer or maybe a missionary and helped feed the poor. God says that he can count the hairs on our head. We all have a unique DNA because he created us that way. He gave us a fingerprint at conception. A chemical instruction sheet that determines your looks, your talents, interests, intelligence, tastes and character. You have this blueprint as soon as you are conceived. I find this so amazing!

I still find myself morning my unborn children at times. I know the truth now. It still pains me to know that my children could feel and reach out while they were tore apart by a machine. All the vital organs were there with the baby I aborted at 12 weeks. They were all destroyed due to my ignorance and lack of knowledge and the need for a violent form of birth control so easily offered.

There is one thing that I could say to women who are choosing to Abort it is, DON’T do it! Get to know all the facts, get counsiling. Talk to women who have been through this experience. This is a life inside of you; this baby has a personal DNA as soon as it’s conceived. This baby has been thought of by God before it was even conceived! I know how much fear and confusion and panic you feel. I also know now that this is a Blessing to you, a Love and Joy of Motherhood a gift from God himself! Don’t throw away this gift. There are many other options please contact me or someone who can help!

My name is Melody Stefanson and I have three wonderful living children Derek, Dezsarae and Naiomi. I also have three regretfully aborted children
Daniel, Cherice and Tamara..
God bless you all.
Prov 31:8 8 Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.[a]
9 Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Love and Blessings

2011 Budget Overview:

Posted From 4myCanada!

As most of you will know, today was the day that the Minister of Finance, the Hon. Jim Flaherty, tabled the government's next budget. If voted down by the opposition parties (which is looking likely) it would trigger a national election. If this happens we could very well be in our 41st national election by the weekend.

.

For your ease we have summarized the main points of the budget below. Beyond reading this however, we would like to invite you to join us in praying for our leaders. With the massive international developments (Japan, Libia, Egypt etc.) in the last weeks, the question of whether or not this is the best timing for an election is a good one. An election would greatly distract Parliament's focus from the needs of the global community for the next weeks - perhaps during a time when the international community needs us most. Though this is not the only consideration in whether or not this is the best time for an election, it definitely is one.

.

Another consideration is that this election would cost Canadians an estimated $300,000 million (based on 2008's election costs). This money could be used for some of the very things that the opposition is wanting to be addressed in the budget: more assistance for seniors, students etc. So whether or not this is the best time for an election, is something that does need to be covered in prayer. Please join us in praying that God will give our leaders, especially from the opposition parties, great intuitive wisdom to know if this is best for Canada at this time and act accordingly (aka - not triggering an election if it is not the best time based on international and national financial needs). Thank you.

.

SUMMARY POINTS FOR TODAY'S BUDGET AS OUTLINED BY MINISTER FLAHERTY IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS:

.

GENERAL COMMENTS ABOUT THE ECONOMY: Since July 2009, the Canadian economy has created more than 480,000 new jobs-more than were lost during the recession. #1 concern right now is for the number of Canadians looking for work. Therefore, supporting small businesses and Canadian industries is a priority in this budget.

.

FORESTRY: The government would extend the current Forest Innovation and Market Development programs through this budget.

.

EDUCATION: Under this budget there would be forgiveness for a portion of federal student loans for new doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners who agree to practice in under-served rural or remote areas. There would also be extended advanced research funding to students and researchers at Canada's colleges and polytechnics.

.

COMMUNITIES: This budget would provide $52 million over the next two years to support programs for Aboriginal communities across the country, including those in the Territories.

.

SENIORS: The budget focuses on topping up benefits to Seniors through the Guaranteed Income Supplement. This would provide up to $600 extra per year for single seniors and up to $840 per year for senior couples. It would also provide additional help to Canadians saving for retirement, including self-employed Canadians, through a new, low-cost pension option.

.

TAXES: There would be cuts to the GST and personal income tax. With the budget changes, the average Canadian family of four would be saving more than $3,000 each year. (Wow!)

.

FAMILIES/CHILDREN: For Canadians caring for infirm loved ones the government would establish a new Family Caregiver Tax Credit. This new tax credit would be an amount of $2,000 and would benefit more than 500,000 in this situation.

.

The new Children's Arts Tax Credit would cover up to $500 per child in qualifying expenses for eligible arts or cultural activities.

.

Under the budget the government would be extending, for one year, the ecoENERGY Retrofit - Homes program. This would help families lower their energy bills, and support jobs in home renovation.

.

INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS: There would be an emphasis in promoting new export opportunities for all Canadian businesses. To support these expanding trade relationships, Canada would modernize Canada's Customs Tariff legislation. This would cut red tape and make it easier for Canadian businesses to compete internationally. The government would extend Export Development Canada's powers to support Canadian businesses in the domestic financing market for an additional year.

.

INFRASTRUCTURE: The federal government would work with provinces, territories, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and other stakeholders to develop a new long-term plan for public infrastructure. They would also introduce legislation to confirm permanent funding for municipal infrastructure through the Gas Tax Fund. This would ensure a stable and predictable source of revenue for the renewal of local infrastructure, to improve the quality of life in our cities and towns.

.

VETREN AFFAIRS: The budget would increase support of Canadians who have served our country in uniform. It would build on substantial support for Career Transition Services through Veterans Affairs Canada.

.

OVERALL REMARKS ABOUT CANADA'S FINANCIAL SITUATION: Canada's deficit is much smaller than that of most other advanced countries. We are emerging from the global recession with the lowest net debt-to-GDP ratio of any G-7 economy, by far. To read a review of the speech, please click here.

.

PRAYER POINTS:

.

1. Pray for all of our leaders to be filled with God’s heart for our nation and especially for the opposition party leaders.

.

2. Pray that the church in Canada will rise in prayer to cover our leaders and nation right now.

.

3. Pray for grace on our leaders as they not only prepare for a likely election but also must stay abreast of important international affairs (Japan, Libia, Egypt etc.).

Cancer Institute Admits Abortions DO Raise Breast Cancer Risks

Shocking Reversal: Researcher at National Cancer Institute Admits Abortions DO Raise Breast Cancer Risks

Karen Malec (January 7, 2010)

"Although the study was published nine months ago, the NCI, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and other cancer fundraising businesses have made no efforts to reduce breast cancer rates by issuing nationwide warnings to women."

Less than two months since the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force issued new guidelines recommending against routine mammograms for women in their forties, a second breast cancer scandal involving a U.S. government panel of experts has come to light which has implications for healthcare reform.

An April 2009 study by Jessica Dolle et al. of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center examining the relationship between oral contraceptives (OCs) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) in women under age 45 contained an admission from U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) researcher Louise Brinton and her colleagues (including Janet Daling) that abortion raises breast cancer risk by 40%.

Additionally, Dolle's team showed that women who start OCs before age 18 multiply their risk of TNBC by 3.7 times and recent users of OCs within the last one to five years multiply their risk by 4.2 times. TNBC is an aggressive form of breast cancer associated with high mortality.

"Although the study was published nine months ago," observed Karen Malec, president of the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer, "the NCI, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and other cancer fundraising businesses have made no efforts to reduce breast cancer rates by issuing nationwide warnings to women."

Brinton was the chief organizer of the 2003 NCI workshop on the abortion-breast cancer link, which falsely assured women that the non-existence of the link was "well established."

Dolle's team reported in Table 1 a statistically significant 40% risk increase for women who have had abortions. They listed abortion among "known and suspected risk factors."

Brinton and Daling had previously studied this population from the Seattle-Puget Sound area in the 1990s and reported risk increases between 20% and 50% among women with abortions. In the 2009 study, they and their co-authors wrote that their findings concerning induced abortion, OC use and certain other risk factors, "were consistent with the effects observed in previous studies on younger women."

"Obviously, more women will die of breast cancer if the NCI fails in its duty to warn about the risks of OCs and abortion and if government funds are used to pay for both as a part of any healthcare bill," said Mrs. Malec.

A brief analysis of the study, Dolle et al. 2009, was provided by Dr. Joel Brind, professor of biology and endocrinology and deputy chair for biology at Baruch College, City University of New York.

Last year, studies from Turkey and China also reported statistically significant risk increases for women who had abortions.

40 Days for Life

I have an urgent prayer request below but first ...

... we are seeing a huge impact this spring on the on
abortion center employees.

Stories across the board continue to pour in about the
peaceful vigil’s impact on abortion center employees.

In one case, someone who arrived to apply for a job ...
and did not realize that Planned Parenthood does
abortions.

In another case, abortion centers are cutting hours.

Here's my urgent prayer request ... plus an exciting
look at several locations where prayer is having a
HUGE impact!

-------------------------------------------------------
PRAYERS NEEDED!
-------------------------------------------------------

I'd like to ask you to keep one particular 40 Days for
Life campaign in prayer. Because of the nature of this
situation, I'm not going to disclose the location.

The bottom line is that a key employee at an abortion
center wants out. The 40 Days for Life vigil volunteers
are helping, so please pray for this situation.

If this employee leaves, then it's quite possible that
another key person may also quit. And if THAT happens --
well, the volunteer says the center might not be able
to keep operating with both of them gone.

"God is working miracles through this campaign," said
the volunteer. Please pray for these employees!

-------------------------------------------------------
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS
-------------------------------------------------------

One of the vigil participants in San Antonio noticed a
woman who got out of her car in the Planned Parenthood
parking lot.

"She looked to be business oriented," said the
volunteer. "I called out to her and she smiled and
came to the sidewalk." The woman said she was there
for a job interview.

"I asked her if she knew they performed abortions here
-- and she said that she did not."

The volunteer told her about the legal situations
Planned Parenthood is in right now. "I also told her
how our local Coalition for Life could help her locate
other clinics where she might apply for work."

A bit later, the woman returned to her car. "She had
turned down the interview and gave us a wave," the
40 Days for Life participant said. "We are changing
hearts and minds!"

-------------------------------------------------------
WACO, TEXAS
-------------------------------------------------------

As volunteers continue to pray outside a Planned
Parenthood abortion center in Waco, the local team
there has learned that two other regional Planned
Parenthood offices have closed -- at least temporarily.

"With all the bad news facing Planned Parenthood locally
and nationally," said John in Waco, "I suspect this will
be a long temporary closure."

Planned Parenthood opened these centers in the past few
years with a lot of publicity and fanfare. Abortions are
not done there, but they do refer women to the office in
Waco where the 40 Days for Life vigil is in progress.

"We pray during 40 Days for Life," said John, "that
Planned Parenthood's abortion facility in Waco will close."

-------------------------------------------------------
LINCOLN, NEBRASKA
-------------------------------------------------------

40 Days for Life volunteers in Lincoln hope today sees
a repeat of what happened last Tuesday.

"Tuesdays are the only day that Planned Parenthood of
Lincoln does surgical abortions," Sheila said. in a note
she posted on the 40 Days for Life blog.

But last Tuesday, the abortion total was ZERO!

"We do not know why," she said, but none were scheduled.

"We are blessed that God has chosen to reveal these
fruits," wrote Sheila.

"Truly our prayers are saving lives."

Today's devotional is from Rev. John Ensor of
Heartbeat International.

------------------------------------------------------
DAY 14 INTENTION
------------------------------------------------------

Pray for the mothers going into pregnancy help centers.
The personal care, the free ultrasound, the ongoing
practical help is designed to deliver them from those
who profit in shedding innocent blood.

------------------------------------------------------
SCRIPTURE
------------------------------------------------------

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and
I will give you rest.

Do Not Be Silent

Don't be silent!
To the nations of the world: The blood of 100's of millions of babies cries out against you. Their cries are heard by God; a god of Justice, Judgment & Divine Retribution. He hears the cries of the afflicted and defends the oppressed. He sees what we do in secret. Turn and repent, before He repays us for what we have done.

Bio Sketch

Melody Stefanson has been sharing her testimony on the pain of abortion for 6 years now.
About seven years ago Melody had watched A personal testimony on abortion on the Miracle Channel . Melody’s deep wounds, remorse and guilt surfaced. She cried out to God for forgiveness for destroying her children through abortion.
Melody became a strong Christian, and God has gifted her in writing and singing prolife and passionate songs. She knew God had a purpose for her life, and she wanted to join the call to be a voice for the voiceless and be silent No More.
She has been married for 15 years, and is the loving mother of 3 children.
Melody has taken a Group Psycho Therapy course and has completed the CSNM Healing & Equipping training. She wants to help other women traumatized by abortion. She also has a heart to warn young people of the dangers of abortion and its negative impact. Melody is a singer/songwriter and speaker on the damage of legal abortion. She has shared her songs at healing and equipping conferences as well as her testimony in different churches and fundraisers. She has also been a part of the CSNM Team to the United Nations in New York and Geneva. Her vision is to touch hearts and minister through music and sharing her personal testimony.

Blessings from CSNMsask!

Dear Friends for Life:

Blessings! My Name is Melody Stefanson, attached is my bios ketch. Some of you know me and some may just be meeting me. I am representative of CSNM sask.

We are in a spiritual war, from Genesis to Revelation. We are to be the salt and light for such a time as this. YOU are the SALT and LIGHT of the earth...do not lose your saltiness (preserving HIS way, truth and life) or you will be trampled on by the foot of man. We are the BODY of Christ, HIS arms, legs, voice and having the mind of CHRIST. May we accomplish EVERYTHING HE wants us to this day!

God has opened the doors to go to the UN-Headquarters in Geneva! May 14-21st UN-Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland for World Health Assembly. The Health Assembly will discuss a specific health agenda prepared by the Executive Board as well as the programmed budget, administration and management matters of WHO. WHO has gradually adopted a special agenda to train abortionists, conduct abortion experiments on pregnant women, and promote the highly controversial idea that access to “safe” abortion is a human right. WHO capitalizes on its good reputation and exploits the extensive networks forged with rich and poor nations from its original role in order to carry out the abortion agenda all over the world.

I will be going with Denise Mountenay from CSNM . Please PRAY that God will open doors for Denise and our CSNM team to meet with ambassadors, as I prepare to go to the United Nations. Pray that funds will come in to send US!..The enemy wants to make abortion a legal right in every nation around the world. The right to child sacrifice, which also damages women in many ways.

Will you help send this missionary to leaders of nations?... to be a voice for the voiceless! Your financial support is needed to send these pro-life veterans across Canada and to the United Nations.

If you would like to donate directly to CSNM please sent to “Prayer Canada” P.O. Box 237, Surrey, BC. V3T 4W8 and on a separate paper please designate to ‘Canada Silent No More’ or to ‘Together for Life Ministries’…they will keep a 10% administrative fee.

Or mail cheques directly to ‘Canada Silent No More’ at 107 Discovery Ave. Morinville, Alberta, T8R 1N1 (the Gov’t of Alberta will match donations from individual Albertans in the form of a grant, to ‘Canada Silent No More’…but no tax receipt given).
