Pray that hearts, minds, Laws and history will be changed!

Rev 12:11 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

My Name is Melody Stefanson and I am here today because I believe abortion Kills babies and emotionally damages women. I was 16 when I became pregnant and had my first abortion. Scared and with no counselling I agreed with my parents that it was the right choice. I didn't even think of the fact that this Baby was had a beating heart at this point in my pregnancy. I believed that it was just a clump of tissue and hadn't even formed until 3 months; I can't believe how naive I was. There were no discussions of risks with the procedure or side effects and neither did my parents. Others convinced me that this was not a baby and I should take care of the problem. You see I think at that time it was so hard to live with the revelation of sexual promiscuity and be exposed to the public of a small town. So we took the easy way out. I remembered feeling so alone and desperate! My life was to be changed forever if I had this child, I really needed counselling! There was no talk in having the baby or putting it up for adoption to me, Just one option, ABORTION.

About a month after my first abortion, I was so depressed and didn’t really care what happened to my body. The pain ran so deep. I had many different sexual relationships due to the need to be loved in some way, because my self esteem was so low. I started to drink to numb the pain inside and using drugs. I remember trying to sleep a lot because life was so much better in a dream. I ended up being involved in a steady relationship. I was on a low dose birth control pill and missed it so many times; this led to my second pregnancy. Spiritually I was empty, emotionally I was lost in depression. I told the father and he said it was up to me, my decision. Which left me overwhelmed and thinking he really doesn’t want a baby or care. So I drank more and did many drugs to forget the problem, not even considering the life I carried inside, because this was just a clump of tissue right!

I was three months when I finally told a family member that I was pregnant. We went to the doctor and told him I wanted another abortion. He didn’t show me any pictures of what this baby looked like at 12 weeks or didn’t send me to any counsellor. He sent me to a clinic in the states. We walked into the clinic and I was awake for the whole procedure. I heard the suction tube I seen them tear my baby piece by piece. It was horrible, but I just wanted to block it out. I ask the nurses what was in the jar and they told me just tissues. They sent me away and I was left empty again. I remember drinking so much that night I just wanted to forget the whole experience.

The Guilt and shame came again, Finally the emotion remorse came.. and in the same year as my abortion I intentionally got pregnant . So many women who experience multiple abortions try to cover their actions and justify themselves by having a baby. This is what I did.. but most relationships who have experienced abortion don’t last. This was the same for my story, I ended up having my baby and got married but divorced six months later. I was trapped in the cycle of Post abortion syndrome. I used abortion as a form of birth control.

My son was three years old when I had my third abortion, and had three abortions before I was 24. This was the most painful one of all. I was in extreme pain with the third abortion. I was alone and drove myself. I didn’t want to tell anyone that I was going to jump up on that table again. After the procedure I remember feeling so weak with heavy bleeding but I didn’t want to go back to the hospital. I felt such shame and guilt inside, I wasn’t going to face anyone who new what I did. I had to stay at a friends house because I couldn’t drive myself home an hour away.

I never talked about my experiences to anyone. When I went for a physical, I would lie about my health history, saying only one abortion or sometimes two but never three. Spiritually I was so empty so
I started searching through different religions and spiritual beliefs. I just wanted to feel whole and fill that void of shame and grief. Through years of searching, heartaches and tears I found a God who would forgive all that I have done and help to restore my character. He would set me free from the shame and heal my pain. When I became a believer he filled the void and gave me a purpose. I wrote a song for my three aborted children so that others could identify with my pain and story. So many regrets, a love letter to them filled with acknowledgement of their existence, and my actions of a choice not given to them.

Years later I saw Denise Mountenay on the miracle channel and she shared her personal testimony. It brought me to tears because I then new I wasn’t the only one feeling this regret and shame. I wept so hard that day and asked God to forgive me and make a way so that I could make a difference. So I sent Denise an email of my testimony because I new that I wanted to get involved and be a voice for my children. I believe healing comes in waves sometimes, to give us strength as needed at the time. Something inside happened to me that day, God gave me strength and courage to speak out about my experiences. To inform women of the truth, to help them heal and be restored, and to expose the lies about abortion. I know that I had a purpose in this life and that God had a purpose for my children. But they were killed before they had a chance.

There are no accidents- no unplanned pregnancies with God. There is a purpose and a plan for everyone. Who knows maybe one of my aborted children could have been a doctor for life or found the cure for cancer or maybe a missionary and helped feed the poor. God says that he can count the hairs on our head. We all have a unique DNA because he created us that way. He gave us a fingerprint at conception. A chemical instruction sheet that determines your looks, your talents, interests, intelligence, tastes and character. You have this blueprint as soon as you are conceived. I find this so amazing!

I still find myself morning my unborn children at times. I know the truth now. It still pains me to know that my children could feel and reach out while they were tore apart by a machine. All the vital organs were there with the baby I aborted at 12 weeks. They were all destroyed due to my ignorance and lack of knowledge and the need for a violent form of birth control so easily offered.

There is one thing that I could say to women who are choosing to Abort it is, DON’T do it! Get to know all the facts, get counsiling. Talk to women who have been through this experience. This is a life inside of you; this baby has a personal DNA as soon as it’s conceived. This baby has been thought of by God before it was even conceived! I know how much fear and confusion and panic you feel. I also know now that this is a Blessing to you, a Love and Joy of Motherhood a gift from God himself! Don’t throw away this gift. There are many other options please contact me or someone who can help!

My name is Melody Stefanson and I have three wonderful living children Derek, Dezsarae and Naiomi. I also have three regretfully aborted children
Daniel, Cherice and Tamara..
God bless you all.
Prov 31:8 8 Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.[a]
9 Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Love and Blessings

2011 Budget Overview:

Posted From 4myCanada!

As most of you will know, today was the day that the Minister of Finance, the Hon. Jim Flaherty, tabled the government's next budget. If voted down by the opposition parties (which is looking likely) it would trigger a national election. If this happens we could very well be in our 41st national election by the weekend.

.

For your ease we have summarized the main points of the budget below. Beyond reading this however, we would like to invite you to join us in praying for our leaders. With the massive international developments (Japan, Libia, Egypt etc.) in the last weeks, the question of whether or not this is the best timing for an election is a good one. An election would greatly distract Parliament's focus from the needs of the global community for the next weeks - perhaps during a time when the international community needs us most. Though this is not the only consideration in whether or not this is the best time for an election, it definitely is one.

.

Another consideration is that this election would cost Canadians an estimated $300,000 million (based on 2008's election costs). This money could be used for some of the very things that the opposition is wanting to be addressed in the budget: more assistance for seniors, students etc. So whether or not this is the best time for an election, is something that does need to be covered in prayer. Please join us in praying that God will give our leaders, especially from the opposition parties, great intuitive wisdom to know if this is best for Canada at this time and act accordingly (aka - not triggering an election if it is not the best time based on international and national financial needs). Thank you.

.

SUMMARY POINTS FOR TODAY'S BUDGET AS OUTLINED BY MINISTER FLAHERTY IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS:

.

GENERAL COMMENTS ABOUT THE ECONOMY: Since July 2009, the Canadian economy has created more than 480,000 new jobs-more than were lost during the recession. #1 concern right now is for the number of Canadians looking for work. Therefore, supporting small businesses and Canadian industries is a priority in this budget.

.

FORESTRY: The government would extend the current Forest Innovation and Market Development programs through this budget.

.

EDUCATION: Under this budget there would be forgiveness for a portion of federal student loans for new doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners who agree to practice in under-served rural or remote areas. There would also be extended advanced research funding to students and researchers at Canada's colleges and polytechnics.

.

COMMUNITIES: This budget would provide $52 million over the next two years to support programs for Aboriginal communities across the country, including those in the Territories.

.

SENIORS: The budget focuses on topping up benefits to Seniors through the Guaranteed Income Supplement. This would provide up to $600 extra per year for single seniors and up to $840 per year for senior couples. It would also provide additional help to Canadians saving for retirement, including self-employed Canadians, through a new, low-cost pension option.

.

TAXES: There would be cuts to the GST and personal income tax. With the budget changes, the average Canadian family of four would be saving more than $3,000 each year. (Wow!)

.

FAMILIES/CHILDREN: For Canadians caring for infirm loved ones the government would establish a new Family Caregiver Tax Credit. This new tax credit would be an amount of $2,000 and would benefit more than 500,000 in this situation.

.

The new Children's Arts Tax Credit would cover up to $500 per child in qualifying expenses for eligible arts or cultural activities.

.

Under the budget the government would be extending, for one year, the ecoENERGY Retrofit - Homes program. This would help families lower their energy bills, and support jobs in home renovation.

.

INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS: There would be an emphasis in promoting new export opportunities for all Canadian businesses. To support these expanding trade relationships, Canada would modernize Canada's Customs Tariff legislation. This would cut red tape and make it easier for Canadian businesses to compete internationally. The government would extend Export Development Canada's powers to support Canadian businesses in the domestic financing market for an additional year.

.

INFRASTRUCTURE: The federal government would work with provinces, territories, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and other stakeholders to develop a new long-term plan for public infrastructure. They would also introduce legislation to confirm permanent funding for municipal infrastructure through the Gas Tax Fund. This would ensure a stable and predictable source of revenue for the renewal of local infrastructure, to improve the quality of life in our cities and towns.

.

VETREN AFFAIRS: The budget would increase support of Canadians who have served our country in uniform. It would build on substantial support for Career Transition Services through Veterans Affairs Canada.

.

OVERALL REMARKS ABOUT CANADA'S FINANCIAL SITUATION: Canada's deficit is much smaller than that of most other advanced countries. We are emerging from the global recession with the lowest net debt-to-GDP ratio of any G-7 economy, by far. To read a review of the speech, please click here.

.

PRAYER POINTS:

.

1. Pray for all of our leaders to be filled with God’s heart for our nation and especially for the opposition party leaders.

.

2. Pray that the church in Canada will rise in prayer to cover our leaders and nation right now.

.

3. Pray for grace on our leaders as they not only prepare for a likely election but also must stay abreast of important international affairs (Japan, Libia, Egypt etc.).

Cancer Institute Admits Abortions DO Raise Breast Cancer Risks

Shocking Reversal: Researcher at National Cancer Institute Admits Abortions DO Raise Breast Cancer Risks

Karen Malec (January 7, 2010)

"Although the study was published nine months ago, the NCI, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and other cancer fundraising businesses have made no efforts to reduce breast cancer rates by issuing nationwide warnings to women."

Less than two months since the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force issued new guidelines recommending against routine mammograms for women in their forties, a second breast cancer scandal involving a U.S. government panel of experts has come to light which has implications for healthcare reform.

An April 2009 study by Jessica Dolle et al. of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center examining the relationship between oral contraceptives (OCs) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) in women under age 45 contained an admission from U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) researcher Louise Brinton and her colleagues (including Janet Daling) that abortion raises breast cancer risk by 40%.

Additionally, Dolle's team showed that women who start OCs before age 18 multiply their risk of TNBC by 3.7 times and recent users of OCs within the last one to five years multiply their risk by 4.2 times. TNBC is an aggressive form of breast cancer associated with high mortality.

"Although the study was published nine months ago," observed Karen Malec, president of the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer, "the NCI, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and other cancer fundraising businesses have made no efforts to reduce breast cancer rates by issuing nationwide warnings to women."

Brinton was the chief organizer of the 2003 NCI workshop on the abortion-breast cancer link, which falsely assured women that the non-existence of the link was "well established."

Dolle's team reported in Table 1 a statistically significant 40% risk increase for women who have had abortions. They listed abortion among "known and suspected risk factors."

Brinton and Daling had previously studied this population from the Seattle-Puget Sound area in the 1990s and reported risk increases between 20% and 50% among women with abortions. In the 2009 study, they and their co-authors wrote that their findings concerning induced abortion, OC use and certain other risk factors, "were consistent with the effects observed in previous studies on younger women."

"Obviously, more women will die of breast cancer if the NCI fails in its duty to warn about the risks of OCs and abortion and if government funds are used to pay for both as a part of any healthcare bill," said Mrs. Malec.

A brief analysis of the study, Dolle et al. 2009, was provided by Dr. Joel Brind, professor of biology and endocrinology and deputy chair for biology at Baruch College, City University of New York.

Last year, studies from Turkey and China also reported statistically significant risk increases for women who had abortions.

40 Days for Life

I have an urgent prayer request below but first ...

... we are seeing a huge impact this spring on the on
abortion center employees.

Stories across the board continue to pour in about the
peaceful vigil’s impact on abortion center employees.

In one case, someone who arrived to apply for a job ...
and did not realize that Planned Parenthood does
abortions.

In another case, abortion centers are cutting hours.

Here's my urgent prayer request ... plus an exciting
look at several locations where prayer is having a
HUGE impact!

-------------------------------------------------------
PRAYERS NEEDED!
-------------------------------------------------------

I'd like to ask you to keep one particular 40 Days for
Life campaign in prayer. Because of the nature of this
situation, I'm not going to disclose the location.

The bottom line is that a key employee at an abortion
center wants out. The 40 Days for Life vigil volunteers
are helping, so please pray for this situation.

If this employee leaves, then it's quite possible that
another key person may also quit. And if THAT happens --
well, the volunteer says the center might not be able
to keep operating with both of them gone.

"God is working miracles through this campaign," said
the volunteer. Please pray for these employees!

-------------------------------------------------------
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS
-------------------------------------------------------

One of the vigil participants in San Antonio noticed a
woman who got out of her car in the Planned Parenthood
parking lot.

"She looked to be business oriented," said the
volunteer. "I called out to her and she smiled and
came to the sidewalk." The woman said she was there
for a job interview.

"I asked her if she knew they performed abortions here
-- and she said that she did not."

The volunteer told her about the legal situations
Planned Parenthood is in right now. "I also told her
how our local Coalition for Life could help her locate
other clinics where she might apply for work."

A bit later, the woman returned to her car. "She had
turned down the interview and gave us a wave," the
40 Days for Life participant said. "We are changing
hearts and minds!"

-------------------------------------------------------
WACO, TEXAS
-------------------------------------------------------

As volunteers continue to pray outside a Planned
Parenthood abortion center in Waco, the local team
there has learned that two other regional Planned
Parenthood offices have closed -- at least temporarily.

"With all the bad news facing Planned Parenthood locally
and nationally," said John in Waco, "I suspect this will
be a long temporary closure."

Planned Parenthood opened these centers in the past few
years with a lot of publicity and fanfare. Abortions are
not done there, but they do refer women to the office in
Waco where the 40 Days for Life vigil is in progress.

"We pray during 40 Days for Life," said John, "that
Planned Parenthood's abortion facility in Waco will close."

-------------------------------------------------------
LINCOLN, NEBRASKA
-------------------------------------------------------

40 Days for Life volunteers in Lincoln hope today sees
a repeat of what happened last Tuesday.

"Tuesdays are the only day that Planned Parenthood of
Lincoln does surgical abortions," Sheila said. in a note
she posted on the 40 Days for Life blog.

But last Tuesday, the abortion total was ZERO!

"We do not know why," she said, but none were scheduled.

"We are blessed that God has chosen to reveal these
fruits," wrote Sheila.

"Truly our prayers are saving lives."

Today's devotional is from Rev. John Ensor of
Heartbeat International.

------------------------------------------------------
DAY 14 INTENTION
------------------------------------------------------

Pray for the mothers going into pregnancy help centers.
The personal care, the free ultrasound, the ongoing
practical help is designed to deliver them from those
who profit in shedding innocent blood.

------------------------------------------------------
SCRIPTURE
------------------------------------------------------

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and
I will give you rest.

Do Not Be Silent

Don't be silent!
To the nations of the world: The blood of 100's of millions of babies cries out against you. Their cries are heard by God; a god of Justice, Judgment & Divine Retribution. He hears the cries of the afflicted and defends the oppressed. He sees what we do in secret. Turn and repent, before He repays us for what we have done.

Bio Sketch

Melody Stefanson has been sharing her testimony on the pain of abortion for 6 years now.
About seven years ago Melody had watched A personal testimony on abortion on the Miracle Channel . Melody’s deep wounds, remorse and guilt surfaced. She cried out to God for forgiveness for destroying her children through abortion.
Melody became a strong Christian, and God has gifted her in writing and singing prolife and passionate songs. She knew God had a purpose for her life, and she wanted to join the call to be a voice for the voiceless and be silent No More.
She has been married for 15 years, and is the loving mother of 3 children.
Melody has taken a Group Psycho Therapy course and has completed the CSNM Healing & Equipping training. She wants to help other women traumatized by abortion. She also has a heart to warn young people of the dangers of abortion and its negative impact. Melody is a singer/songwriter and speaker on the damage of legal abortion. She has shared her songs at healing and equipping conferences as well as her testimony in different churches and fundraisers. She has also been a part of the CSNM Team to the United Nations in New York and Geneva. Her vision is to touch hearts and minister through music and sharing her personal testimony.

Blessings from CSNMsask!

Dear Friends for Life:

Blessings! My Name is Melody Stefanson, attached is my bios ketch. Some of you know me and some may just be meeting me. I am representative of CSNM sask.

We are in a spiritual war, from Genesis to Revelation. We are to be the salt and light for such a time as this. YOU are the SALT and LIGHT of the earth...do not lose your saltiness (preserving HIS way, truth and life) or you will be trampled on by the foot of man. We are the BODY of Christ, HIS arms, legs, voice and having the mind of CHRIST. May we accomplish EVERYTHING HE wants us to this day!

God has opened the doors to go to the UN-Headquarters in Geneva! May 14-21st UN-Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland for World Health Assembly. The Health Assembly will discuss a specific health agenda prepared by the Executive Board as well as the programmed budget, administration and management matters of WHO. WHO has gradually adopted a special agenda to train abortionists, conduct abortion experiments on pregnant women, and promote the highly controversial idea that access to “safe” abortion is a human right. WHO capitalizes on its good reputation and exploits the extensive networks forged with rich and poor nations from its original role in order to carry out the abortion agenda all over the world.

I will be going with Denise Mountenay from CSNM . Please PRAY that God will open doors for Denise and our CSNM team to meet with ambassadors, as I prepare to go to the United Nations. Pray that funds will come in to send US!..The enemy wants to make abortion a legal right in every nation around the world. The right to child sacrifice, which also damages women in many ways.

Will you help send this missionary to leaders of nations?... to be a voice for the voiceless! Your financial support is needed to send these pro-life veterans across Canada and to the United Nations.

If you would like to donate directly to CSNM please sent to “Prayer Canada” P.O. Box 237, Surrey, BC. V3T 4W8 and on a separate paper please designate to ‘Canada Silent No More’ or to ‘Together for Life Ministries’…they will keep a 10% administrative fee.

Or mail cheques directly to ‘Canada Silent No More’ at 107 Discovery Ave. Morinville, Alberta, T8R 1N1 (the Gov’t of Alberta will match donations from individual Albertans in the form of a grant, to ‘Canada Silent No More’…but no tax receipt given).
